*Please tell me whether the colour is off, as my monitor might not be set properly, Thanx*

This was a test of something I did, quite freaky isn't it!
My aim was to make it look like it was pieces of skin being stitched together.

My friend Kelly helped me with the colouring type of thing then my mum said it looks like her face it being stitched so I added that to it as well.

This my first attempt at this sort of thing so don't be to harsh lol =]

if you find anything wrong with it or something needs adding or whatnot then tell me....but i just realized I didn't save it with the layers on photo shop so i wont be able to do much editing lol..

Wow what the hell. Just looking at this gives me insane goosebumps!

I liked the whole original idea of having the whole face being stitched together. Great use of the original stock image, turnin what looked like a normal face, into something so grotesque and incredibly fearsome.

What I thought needed a little more working on, was the follow through of the technique, which pretty much covers the whole aspect of what did not work.

I felt that the stitching at some portions looked more drawn than real stitches and to add on to it, there were some portions of the redness that seemed to look oversaturated.

I liked the idea of bringing out the face from darkness to light with a simulated flash, but perhaps showing just a bit more of the face might do the trick.

To me, this is a definite horror fav, even though I don't even like horror at all. It was a well manipulated piece, well deserving of a daily deviation at the very least.

Keep the manipulation up! You've got the eye for this.
